Frequently Asked Questions
If you could give one piece of advice to someone diagnosed with cancer, what would it be?
Mindset is everything. You need to believe that healing is possible before healing can begin. How you get in the right frame of mind each day will be critical in giving you the energy and focus to continue the journey even on those tough days. I start every day by receiving the PEP (Prayers, Energy, and Positivity) that people send me which helps me get in the right mindset.
Why this book?
In speaking with others impacted by cancer, I realized that I took for granted all the things I knew or learned along the way. If other’s knew everything I knew, it would likely increase their chances of being healed. Every day more and more people are getting impacted by cancer, if I can help just a little in this broader effort I felt compelled to do so.
I’m in a rush, where do I start?
While I think there is value in each part of the book, if you have been newly diagnosed and are trying to get up to speed quickly, I would go to the Diagnosis chapter in the How-To section of the book. This will give you the most relevant information that can be acted upon immediately.
I need more help, where can I find it?
Intentionally I do not go extremely deep on specific topics (E.g. Ketogenic versus Vegetarian diet) but I do reference other books, websites, resources, that have already covered these topics in greater detail. Please refer to the References section for a complete list.
