I wrote a book to try and help you and your loved ones. After speaking with several people impacted by cancer, I realized there was a lot of knowledge I took for granted having worked in healthcare for many years. This book is an effort to share everything I learned to hopefully make your journey a little easier.
I wrote this book with 2 main goals:
- Hope. Getting a cancer diagnosis doesn’t have to be a death sentence. I detail the good, bad and ugly of my journey. If I and many others can find a way forward so can you.
- Guidance. Your hope can be empowered with insights into practical things you can do at each stage of the journey. This is my “how to” guide on everything clinically, administratively, and financially I’ve learned.
