As I shared previously the last stretch has been challenging. In addition to the PEP which I humbly receive every day. I am so grateful for the many acts of kindness all y-all did to lift my spirits and help my family get through this. Whether it was flowers, balloons, delivering meals, Uber eats cards, cards/notes, playlists, “positive poo”, books, etc., they all helped raise my family and I up. I believe there is good and evil in this World and just so blessed that so many good humans are helping us recover and heal.
Quick update: recovery has been a little slower than expected, lost a lot of weight, but now progressing. I’m starting to get back to my diet and working out (at some point hopefully I will have some “after” photos that I can share!).
Below were two acts of PEP I thought everyone would benefit from.
Superman sent me PEP! Little known fact to me, Kelloggs introduced PEP cereal in 1923 and would be popular into the 1960’s. The below is a pin a friend sent me from the cereal!
I received a personalized PEP message from rap legend Sir Mix-a-Lot! This thoughtful and honest message made my day (warning, mildly offensive language).
I hope all of you are doing great! If we pause, we realize that by in large we have so much to be grateful for!
Track in rotation, “Happy” Pharrell Williams
